Liverpool took a major step in their bid for a first-ever Premier League title as the side cruised to a 2-0 win over Chelsea.
Liverpool overcame a major hurdle in their title challenge this season, as they finally parted ways with the ghost of 2014.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now leading in the Premier League title race again, as Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield. Goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah secured victory for the Merseyside club, as they overtook Manchester City at the top of the table.
Chelsea lost a huge chance to strengthen their position for a top-4 position. The side now risks going down to fifth position as Manchester United have a game in hand against Maurizio Sarri’s side.
Liverpool, meanwhile, may have played a game more than Manchester City but face a relatively easy set of fixtures in their rest of the league season. Pep Guardiola’s side faces Manchester United later this month.

Don’t forget the fact that some Chelsea fans traveled all the way to Czech, Sparta Prague, only to sing a racial abusive song about Salah, but you know what he did in response? He then dived and….

Premier League shaping up to leave Man United in position of knowing if they don’t lose to City on April 24 will put Liverpool on course for title

Hard to see Liverpool dropping a point in their final four games, so holding on to this lead could be the key to winning the title. City going to have to win all their remaining games at this rate.
