Not many people know Rafael Forster and it is likely that in the coming days many will have forgotten his name. However, his lightning goal in the Europa League last night will very likely stand the test of time.
Ludogorets picked up their second win in two matches in the Europa League last night. Having beaten CSKA Moscow 4-0 in their opening match, they beat Ferencvaros 3-0 to extend their winning run. They are currently group H table toppers and have a monstrous goal difference of +4.
Ludogorets’ Rafael Forster channels inner Roberto Carlos to score a 30-yard scorcher vs Ferencvaros
Brazilian Rafael Forster made the night truly his own when he scored a screamer from a free kick that was so out that Ferencvaros only put up a two man wall in front of him to defend the shot.
Forster, who plays as a left back, bought back memories of another legendary Brazilian left back, Roberto Carlos as he found the back of the net from distance, relying on pure power to score the second goal for his side.

His manager was left shell shocked just as everyone watching the match. He just could not believe what his eyes had seen. This goal will easily be ranked very highly and is easily the best goal hammered so far in this year’s Europa league so far.
