Manchester United will travel to the Etihad later today in a bid to seal a place in the final of the Carabao Cup. However, Manchester City will fancy their chances going to the 2nd leg of the semi-final, having won the first leg 3-1, carrying a 2-goal lead.

United will be without several of their key players such as Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford due to injuries and will need a miracle to even take the game to penalties. However, stranger things have happened in football and Pep Guardiola will be wise not to let his guard down.

The winner of this match will face Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley and will have their first shot at a silverware this season. While City still has an outside chance at the Premier League and a fair shot at the Champions league, the domestic cups are Ole’s only realistic chance at a trophy this season. Although United will fancy themselves for a deep run in the Europa league as well.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
