Man United Transfer News: Manchester United spot Aaron Wan-Bissaka alternative in Napoli

Man United Transfer News: Manchester United spot an ideal alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as his move to Old Trafford seems uncertain.

Manchester United need immediate defensive reinforcements at defense, especially at the right-back position, as Diogo Dalot is not trusted by Ole Solskjaer and played Ashley Young at that position during the most crucial phase of last season.

Thus, Manchester United were targeting to land the Crystal Palace sensation, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but the Eagles are reluctant to transfer the player at the price offered by the Red Devils.

Therefore, it seems that Manchester United are looking at other prospects to fulfill the requirements, hence, according to a report by the Sky Italia, the English giants are set to negotiate for Elseid Hysaj from Napoli, as an alternate to Wan-Bissaka.

The Italian newspaper suggests that Napoli have opened initial talks of negotiations with Manchester United.  The Red Devils are keen on the Albanian international due to his ability to play on either side of the back four.

It is further reported that the player is available for €25 million, a bargain, if compared to Wan-Bissaka’s price this summer.

However, the Premier league giants could face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid as they are also showing an interest in Hysaj this summer.

Meanwhile, Hysaj has also reportedly mentioned his desire to look for new challenges elsewhere this summer, and it seems, Manchester United can offer him a mega deal to lure him to join the club.

Considering, the Albanian International is a versatile figure at back, the 25-year-old seems a viable option for the Red Devils amidst defenive crisis.
