Man United Transfer News: Napoli drops Arkadiusz Milik price tag months after Manchester United enquired about him to bolster their attack.
Manchester United has lately shown interest in Arkadiusz Milik as he seems to be a strong candidate to lead the attack line in Ole Solskjaer’s team.
According to a report by the Tuttomercatoweb, as per the Daily Star, Napoli is ready to drop the asking price for Milik, who might seek a move out of the club in the next transfer window.
Manchester United earlier was keen on getting the Polish striker and was looking to close the deal to cost around £60 million, but eventually, the deal couldn’t take place.
Now, months later it has been reported that the Italian giants are set to reduce the price for Milik and would be willing to sell him off with £30 million.
AC Milan and Schalke are also appearing to be interested in the pursuit of Milik. Schalke have even made a bid at €25m for the former Bayer Leverkusen and FC Augsburg star.
The Polish International has been acclaimed highly for his potential, but has not been able to be regular for Napoli and could only fetch 12 goals in 22 games across all competitions this season, which is still decent.
Moreover, Milik has earlier shown his interest in Manchester United. During his time with Bayer Leverkusen, he said that he would love to play for Manchester United.
“I am a Red Devil supporter, so I would love to play at Old Trafford one day. “For now, however, I am a Bayer Leverkusen footballer, and I am very far from Manchester,” he said.

Presently, Manchester United fans are not satisfied with Anthony Martial’s inconsistent performances, meanwhile, Odion Ighalo’s future at the club is not clear, hence Milik does seem to be a good option to build the team upon.
