Man Utd News: Eric Bailly likes comments criticising Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford

Eric Bailly has liked comments criticising Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United are in a mess currently. The club was not able to finish in a Champions League position because of the mentality shown by the players. The conundrum starts from the players, who are not giving their best amidst the ongoing contract problems.

Defender Eric Bailly has liked two comments on Instagram which have slammed Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

Paul Pogba was signed from Juventus in the summer of 2016, but he has never hit the heights expected from him. The Frenchman has been inconsistent from minute one, but the boiling part has reached this season. This is especially after Jose Mourinho’s sack and the failure to work hard under the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Real Madrid have been linked with the midfielder.

On the other hand, Marcus Rashford is yet to commit his future to Manchester United. The academy graduate’s contract ends in 2021 and the Reds Devils have an exercise option to add one more year to the top of that. However, they want to tie down their number 10 to another contract. Barcelona are set to be interested in the youngster.

A fan had posted the team for the next year and Eric Bailly has apparently liked two comments slamming Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba. The comment read ‘Rubbish Rashford out’, which clearly states that he has not been good enough this season.

Another comment is slamming Paul Pogba. The French International has been slammed many times for his behaviour. The French International was bashed by a supporter and called out for him and labelled him as an anchor of the dressing room.

The comment stated: ‘Lol Pogba as anchorman. Moronic team selection.’

Last month, Wayne Rooney urged United’s players to take more responsibility over their use of social media.

“These players almost always like to find someone to hide behind, whether that is on their social media or on the football pitch and that’s what they are doing,’ United’s all-time record goalscorer said.

“When fans speak up on it and say “why are you posting that?” they always have the marketing people to blame – take responsibility. They work for you. I have people who do similar stuff for me and they never do anything without my instructions.

“The way the game has gone has changed, society has changed. You’ve got social media. You have got players losing a game and posting something on social media about their new clothing range, aftershave, whatever they’re bringing out, which I find remarkable.

“I think the players need to fear someone. They need to fear Ole Gunnar. They need to fear Michael Carrick. They need to respect them but fear them also.”

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

Manchester United are expected to battle out to keep the likes of Paul Pogba and David De Gea at the club.
