Man Utd transfer news: Man Utd's top target given green light for move by manager

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has given the green light for Man Utd’s top target, Wilfried Zaha, as well as Aaron Wan-Bissaka for a transfer in the summer.

Manchester United are reportedly making moves in the transfer market.

The side has been linked with a number of players in the summer transfer window, and we compiled a list of players which might improve the squad after Solskjaer’s appointment as the permanent manager.

One of the players Manchester United were linked with recently was Wilfried Zaha.

The Crystal Palace winger previously played for Manchester United before making a move to London due to lack of opportunities.

Now, Manchester United are rumoured to make a move for the attacker. And Crystal Palace’s manager, Roy Hodgson, admitted that the player could leave in the summer.

Wilfried Zaha to Man Utd:

In the pre-match conference for the game against Tottenham, Roy Hodgson addressed the rumours surrounding Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

“It (speculation) has been happening on a regular basis this season that Wilf and Aaron have been linked with other clubs,” said Hodgson.

“We have moved to England now, we were in Germany for a while. We are back in England now – being linked with moves to bigger clubs in the Premier League.

“The good thing for me is one has a five-year contract (Zaha) and one has a four-year contract (Wan-Bissaka).”

While Hodgson stated that Crystal Palace wants to keep both the players, they will consider offers as they come to the table.

“The club is certainly in no way advertising them or promoting them as saleable objects. We would be more than happy to keep them.

“But we just have to remain realistic and see what happens. If offers come in they will obviously be assessed, like everything else.

“As I heard Manuel Pellegrini quite rightly say the other day [when discussing Declan Rice’s future]: every footballer player does have a price.”
