Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United bid €62 million bid for Bruno Fernandes

Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United make a €62 million bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes to bolster the squad.

Manchester United are targeting to land Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon to England, in order to fortify their depleting midfield ahead of the start of new season.

To accelerate their pursuit, according to a claim by the journalist Nicolo Schira, Manchester United have raised their bid to €62 million for Fernandes.

With the departure of Ander Herrera, and possible exit of Paul Pogba next summer, cast doubts over Manchester United’s quality in midfield. Thus the Red Devils find the Portuguese International as a viable option in the middle of the park.

On the other hand, Bruno Fernandes has been phenomenal for Sporting Lisbon and played a crucial part in Portugal’s UEFA nations’ league triumph.

Considering the level of reinforcements required in the English club, Manchester United have decided to meet the demands of the Portuguese club.

With Manchester United offering a colossal bid, the Lisbon based club might be compelled to sell him, if they wish to generate a profit through the 24-year-old superstar.

Whereas, the Portuguese International is also reported to be keen to make his way out of the club this summer. Thus, it seems that the ball is in Ole Solskjaer’s court.

Manchester United are desperate to add reinforcements in the squad to upgrade the level of the team, as an underwhelming campaign in this season of the Premier league has been a setback for the Red Devils.

With the addition of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bisssaka and probable inclusion of Fernandes in the team might help Manchester United to draw results this time
