Man Utd transfer news: Paulo Dybala U-turn, wants to join United

Man Utd transfer news: Paulo Dybala U-turn, wants to join United after refusing a move to Old Trafford earlier this week.

The Manchester United-Paulo Dybala saga continues. Earlier in the week it was reported that Juventus forward Dybala had let known that he had no desire to move away from Turin. This led to Manchester United calling off the chase, throwing Romelu Lukaku’s future in disarray.

Manchester United were unwilling to bring in a player who wasn’t interested to play for them. Solskjaer has repeatedly announced his desire to field eleven men who would give it all for the badge. Dybala was not.

Furthermore, it was reported that United were turned off by the exorbitant wages he had demanded for himself and his agent. With United not looking to buy for the sake of buying, they moved away from his outrageous demands.

Calciomercato have now reported that Dybala regrets his decision and he now wants to join Manchester United. The reason why is not clear though, except for calling him very clever.

While Dybala saw himself as indispensable to the team, clearly Sarri did not feel the same. He agreed to a swap between Dybala and Lukaku with both players trading shirts. Lukaku does not want to be at Old Trafford anymore and Juventus do not see Dybala as part of their plans. It should have gone through with no hitches.

Lukaku would have gotten his first team spot and Dybala, the importance he feels like he deserves. Unfortunately, it is unlikely now that Manchester United or Ola Gunnar Solskjaer would be interested to bring him in anymore.
