Manchester United 2019 calendar: One United star missing from the new calendar
Manchester United 2019 calendar: The new year calendar saw one major omission from the club squad.
Manchester United qualified for the round-of-16 of the Champions League with a narrow win over Young Boys. Marouane Fellaini scored the injury-time winner for United as Mourinho’s side sealed a berth in the next round.
Earlier, David De Gea made an incredible save to keep Manchester United in the game, which earned him the Man of the Match award. The manager Jose Mourinho called him the best goalkeeper in the world in the post-match conference.
One of the players who has been in fine form this season is Anthony Martial. After being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford due to a seeming fall-out with Jose Mourinho, Martial made a comeback in the side after Alexis Sanchez faced a slump in form.
The Frenchman has bagged seven goals and made three assists in the season so far, which includes scoring in five consecutive Premier League games. However, United fans received a setback when the player was not included in the club’s official calendar for 2019.
Manchester United 2019 calendar:
The player was omitted for the 2019 calendar. The new summer signing, Fred found a place in the calendar, and Eric Bailly was also drafted a slot, but Anthony Martial was nowhere to be seen.

The absence of Anthony Martial in the calendar raised doubts among the United fans over his future at the club. But is it really a reason to worry?

The transfer market has always been unpredictable, but omission from fan merchandise has hardly ever been a signal of a player leaving.

Philippe Coutinho was included in Liverpool’s calendar, starring in the month of January. Ironically, the Liverpool midfielder left the club for Barcelona in the same month.
Anthony Martial’s situation at Manchester United had been worrying in the beginning of the season, but the forward has established himself as one of the vital parts of the side with impressive performances over the past few games.
