Mauricio Pochettino Circles In On Manchester City Striker As His First Big Name Signing At PSG: The player’s agent has spoken about PSG’s interest in the City striker

With his contract at Manchester City coming to an end once the ongoing season curtails, Sergio Aguero is currently free to talk to foreign clubs about a deal away from the Premier League. And the striker is not short of suitors either as per his agent Bruno Satin who has spoken about PSG’s interest in the striker.

Satin Talks About PSG’s Interest

Speaking to Canal+ on their Late Football Show, Satin said that new manager Mauricio Pochettino was extremely eager to bring in the striker. Along with sharing their roots in Argentina, both the people are well versed with each other during Pochettino’s time at Tottenham.

Pochettino who has only recently been named as PSG’s manager is said to be an avid admirer of Aguero and is keenly monitoring the player’s situation at City. It’s believed that a transfer could be on the cards with the 240,000 pound per week wage Aguero currently pockets at City said to be of no concern to PSG.

Aguero who has featured only on a handful of occasions for City this season has seen his soiree be massively hampered by injuries. The player has spent a hefty amount of the season on the injury bed with the striker getting a clean bill of health only last month.

The string of injuries suffered by the 32 year old have seen City reconsider their situation with the striker. Despite having endured a majority of his hay days as a player at City, the striker is slated to be offloaded at the end of the season with City interested in getting a new name.

Pep had earlier in October talked about the need for Aguero to prove his worth to the side once again. “We know what he means for us, we know how we appreciate him, but now he has to show like every one of us, me first, that we deserve to continue here, playing good and winning games,” the City manager had said.

“After that, the club and myself of course decide, but about his quality… when he is playing in his level and we don’t have any doubts he is a player to stay until he decides because he is unique, the numbers, he is important for us, the fans and for everyone.
