Megan Rapinoe goal Vs France: Watch USA star score against hosts France in the Women's World Cup

Megan Rapinoe goal Vs France: Watch USA star score against the hosts France in the initial minutes of Women’s World Cup quarter-final.

USA Vs France was the most exciting tie of the tournaments, with the strongest sides in the competition facing each other in the quarter finals of the Women’s World Cup 2019.

However, the match began with a huge shock as one of the tournament favourites conceded an early goal in the fifth minute of the game, as Megan Rapinoe scored the opening goal with a surprising free-kick.

It was early in the game, when Alex Morgan was fouled in the early minutes of the game after Mbock Bathy caught her late while tackling on the left wing, which eventually brought her down and giving USA a set piece opportunity and a yellow card to Bathy.

Then Rapoine aimed the goal from an awkward angle, and took a grounded but a powerful shot, which whipped around the French wall, and shockingly through the legs of the French captain Amandine Henry, as she was covering to the near post to protect the goal.

Thus, for a moment it blinded Sarah Bouhaddi, as the ball went into the net, giving her a fraction of second to react, which surely proved to be too less to protect the goal.

Hence, making it 1-0 for USA early in the game in such a crucial match. For now, we will see how France will take this blow for now. On the other side, USA have to keep pressurizing the hosts with their ruthless attack upfront.
