MI Predicted 11 vs SRH

MI Predicted 11 vs SRH: The Sportsrush presents before you MI Predicted Playing 11 for their 13th match of IPL 2019 vs SRH.

The Mumbai Indians have lost 2 of their last 3 matches and are coming off a high scoring thriller against KKR where they could not get over the line. They are on 14 points and Rohit Sharma will be looking to quickly win another game and qualify for the playoffs after which, they can look to try and finish in the top 2.

Their biggest strength is the form of Hardik Pandya and it will be interesting to see if Hardik continues to make a huge impact like he has been doing.

MI Predicted 11 vs SRH

MI Top-order

Rohit Sharma is expected to open the innings as usual. He would love to get a big knock under his belt in this IPL. Quinton de Kock has played some swashbuckling innings and should look to be at his brutal best when he walks out to open against SRH.

Suryakumar Yadav is expected to return to the No. 3 slot considering Evin Lewis would probably miss out to accommodate an overseas pacer. Yadav has a lot of potential and has displayed his talent time and again. However, he needs to be a bit more consistent.

MI middle-order

Ishan Kishan would probably make a comeback to the XI and he must look to make the most of this opportunity and provide some stability to the Mumbai middle order. Krunal Pandya has not been prolific with the bat in this season and would want to get among the runs before the playoffs kick in.

Hardik Pandya has been the brightest star in the Mumbai Indians squad and has played some destructive innings which has often propelled Mumbai to a win. He would need to do that again.

Kieron Pollard has been in pretty good form in this season. He should look to continue in the same vein. Ben Cutting might be drafted in and he could smash a few big ones as the end as well.

MI Bowlers

The MI bowlers well hit all around the Eden Gardens in their last match. They need to forget about that match and quickly move on to this one. Rahul Chahar has been very exciting to watch. He has the ability to constantly pick up crucial wickets. Krunal Pandya has not had a good season with the ball as well and should look to complement Rahul Chahar and pick up a few wickets himself.

Jasprit Bumrah has not exactly been enthralling with the ball in this IPL but we all know how he can wreak havoc on his day. Bumrah would be hoping to deliver in this game. The old war-horse of Mumbai, Lasith Malinga, has been in great form and his slower ones have helped him dismiss many a batsman in this IPL.

These two would either be supported by Ben Cutting who can bowl some decent medium pace or they might hand the debut cap to the left-armed pacer from South Africa, Beuran Hendricks. Since this has been the season for on-debut pacers to surprise one and all (Alzarri Joseph and Harry Gurney), who knows this may prove to be a masterstroke.

MI Predicted 11 vs SRH – 1) Quinton de Kock (wk) 2) Rohit Sharma (c) 3) Suryakumar Yadav 4) Ishan Kishan 5) Krunal Pandya 6) Kieron Pollard 7) Hardik Pandya 8) Ben Cutting / Beuran Hendricks 9) Rahul Chahar 10) Lasith Malinga 11) Jasprit Bumrah
