Minecraft Legends: Everything You Need to Know about the Gameplay!

Minecraft Legends is sure to create a lot of buzzes as it is Mojang’s newest undertaking. However, we have covered the game previously and see a lot of potential in this concept of Minecraft. That is why, we are going to analyze what the newest gameplay trailer of Legends shows us and how it is a breath of fresh air for all Minecraft players.

Minecraft Legends Gameplay Analysis

Legends is supposed to release on April 18th. We keep getting more and more information as fast as the release date approaches. However, the game is drastically different from the ones we are used to. It uses a fixed Third Person perspective and prioritizes action and strategy over the building. The player will take control of a whole army, build bases, and attack piglins to ensure that they have the upper hand over the invaders.

You will be able to build villages and structures that will fare better in the war against the piglins. There are hostile structures everywhere and players will need to ride in their mount over to those locations. After doing that, they will participate in combat to defeat the enemy and reclaim the structure/location. The more enemies you defeat and areas you reclaim the more Overworld citizens will be willing to join your cause.

You will also be able to harvest resources to build your bases. Building can be handled automatically by your Overworld friends so by the time you return from battle, your bases will be rebuilt. The core focus of this game is to build an alliance with the Overworld folks. The game won’t progress like an RPG. The game will have various mob types and enemies. These mobs will give you advantages when taking on the forces of the piglins.

In addition, multiplayer and Co-Op will also be a huge part of this game so players can watch out for that. They can battle other piglins and teams in PvP or drop in on a player-hosted map in Co-Op to help their friends in the game. Players won’t have to wait long since Minecraft releases for consoles and PC on April 18th. For more Minecraft content, stay tuned at The SportsRush!
