Like the sound of a collab b/w renowned Tech Youtuber, Marques “MKBHD” Brownlee & star philanthropist, MrBeast? Well, something huge may be in the works!
They are arguably two of the biggest names in their own niches. So, although it only seems like a bit of banter for now, the prospect of a possible collab is mouth-watering to fans of either camp.
MKBHD & MrBeast? How it began…
It began with a tweet from What’s Inside, yet another popular tech channel on YouTube. He uploaded a list of names that ranked MKBHD at no. 5 among the people with the highest Tesla referrals of all time. “I think Elon would approve of the number…?”, he joked.
Big names on YouTube immediately gathered in the comments section of the post including MKBHD & Zach Nelson from JerryRigEverything.
So, while Marques initially only reacted with a subtle “lol”, he too decided to build on the joke.
“Time to open a Tesla dealership with MrBeast”, he said, “there’s no way it can fail”. Moments later, MrBeast responded with a straight-up “I’m down” in the affirmative. Now, all of this is obviously regular banter & there’s nothing more to it, or so it seems?
MrBeast collab: More to it than meets the eye.
You see, Marques is known for being incredibly secretive about his future projects. In fact, he’ll often have the most insane things going on behind the scenes, such as an interview with Bill Gates, while he holds up a poker face for his fans. At the same time, MKBHD is also notorious for subtle dropping hints to foreshadow future projects. For eg., he’d been wearing the “MKBHD ICONS” mask for about half a year already before his “ICONS” brand launched in collab with DBrand. And that, Marques himself confessed, was to draw some curious looks from his fans.
So, this is definitely a man who is naughty & frequent with his Easter eggs. And then, there’s MrBeast. I mean what more needs to be said of him. This man already gets the most insane ideas out there & donates cars for fun.
So, stay tuned & if not a Tesla dealership, don’t be surprised if we witnessed an iconic collab between the two after all.
