CSK fans denied Dhoni posters and CSK flags

CSK fans denied Dhoni posters and CSK flags: Security officials are denying Chennai Super Kings fans to carry their captain’s posters.

Defending Champions Chennai Super Kings are slated to lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad tonight. In a development which hasn’t went down well in Hyderabad is that Super Kings’ fans are being denied to carry their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s posters and CSK flags along with them to Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The same was made public after some of Super Kings’ fans expressed their opinion on social media platform Twitter regarding the same. While no concrete reasons have been mentioned, it is said that the security officials are denying the same citing IMG instructions.

After CSK’s fans posted the tweets, they were shared by the official handle of the franchise, who asked Sunrisers Hyderabad to take immediate action.

Read the tweets below:

It will be the first time that Sunrisers and Super Kings are facing each other in IPL 2019. With seven wins and one loss in eight matches, Super Kings are currently at the top of the table. On the contrary, with three wins and four losses in seven matches, Sunrisers are at No. 6 in the points table.

While Chennai Super Kings have all but qualified for the playoffs, another loss for Sunrisers Hyderabad will further make things difficult for them. Playing in front of their home crowd, they would be looking to force a victory tonight.
