MS Dhoni is auctioning his autographed gear for charity
MS Dhoni, one of the most successful captains that Indian cricket has cherished, continues to rule the hearts of fans owing to his contribution to cricket in India since 2004. He recently became only the second wicketkeeper-batsman to attain the landmark of 10,000 runs in ODI cricket. Mahi also became the fourth international keeper to register 300 catches in ODI cricket under his name.
MS Dhoni is obsessed with the number 7 and considers it very lucky for him and hence he also sports a number 7 jersey on the field.
Dhoni fans would be happy to know that they can get hold of Dhoni’s gear through an auction for a noble cause.
The former Indian captain recently played the role of Captain Cool in a Snicker’s advertisement. An autographed warrior costume from the advertisement and a number 7 jersey worn by him in the ad, is being auctioned online to raise money for cancer patients.
Money raised from this sale will be donated to the cancer patients at the Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation. The funds will benefit the patients whose annual income is less than Rs 30,000.

SaltScout, which is a social enterprise, has previously associated with bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, and this is their first venture with a sports personality.
The items under auction were donated by Keroscene Films, the producer of the advertisement with the support of MS Dhoni and Snickers.
Dhoni is widely popular around the world and has always looked forward to do something for the betterment of the society.
