AB de Villiers has been the difference between the two sides in this Test series, bailing out South Africa twice during important moments to take the game away from India.

Coming in at 3 for 2, a stage where the Indian bowlers were spitting venom(especially Bumrah), ABD took the counter attacking route, scoring freely to put the pressure back on the Indians.

And on a pitch that seemed to have a lot of demons, ABD made it look like a batting paradise.

All the Indian speedsters were taken for a ride, with ABD dispatching them for regular boundaries and taking South Africa to a position of authority in the Test match.

India were expectant while walking onto the field today, after having next to no luck with the pitch last night. Ishant Sharma and Bumrah looked rather flat though in the first half hour, and it was only a matter of time before Shami was introduced into the attack.

With Shami, you do have a lot of erratic bowling, but when he is on song, he is mighty effective(shades of Sreesanth).

AB De Villiers was dominating the proceedings today as well, but then Shami got one to bounce a little more than expected from a good length area, and ABD, who was trying to run it down to third man, ended up presenting a straightforward catch to Parthiv Patel.

South Africa currently have a lead of 200 and would be hoping to put something in excess of 250 on board with 5 wickets in hand.
