England got off to an explosive start. Jonny Bairstow dispatched a flurry of boundaries to leave the Indians tensed.
Bhubaneswar Kumar did not have a great start on his come back as he went for 20 runs in his first 2 overs. After this, he was removed from bowling and Hardik Pandya came in.

When Hardik met the same fate Bhuvneshwar was introduced from another end. However, after Shardul Thakur came in Jonny Bairstow chipped one straight to short mid on Suresh Raina caught it and Bairstow was dismissed.
However, Vince was joined by Joe Root and the two kept executing their plans. After the nine over mark, England were comfortable perched at 70 odd for the loss of one wicket. As soon as Chahal came to bowl in the 10th over, on the very first ball Vince tried to sneak a quick single.
However Hardik Pandya came up with a brilliant throw from covers. Although it was a little wide, MS Dhoni collected it brilliantly and dragged it back on to the stumps.

As it turned out, Vince was a little short of his crease when Dhoni dislodged the bails. Vince was given out and this gave India an opportunity to claw their way back into the match.
