Watch Dhoni’s funny Star Sports ad ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: The legendary cricketer has appeared in a promotional advertisement.

In a bid to bang the drums in the best possible manner for the looming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, broadcaster Star Sports have started their promotional campaigns. The same is being done to ensure that the voice reaches to a maximum number of eyeballs before the showpiece event commences on May 30.

Former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has appeared in one of the advertisements for Star Sports. Bringing on board arguably the most popular name in Indian cricket, the move is set to promote the tournament extravagantly.

It is worth mentioning that Dhoni had earlier appeared in a promotional video for Star Sports before the recently concluded 12th season of the Indian Premier League. The 37-year old cricketer was seen replying to wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant.

In the latest video, Dhoni acknowledges the fact that all the teams are equally placed before the World Cup. However, on watching a fan duly supporting India, the legendary cricketer gives signs of considering his teams as the favourites for the World Cup.

India will play their first World Cup match against South Africa at Southampton on June 5.
