The Men in Blue won their first ever T20I series in England, as they overcame the Three Lions on their own soil 2-1. Rohit Sharma scored a terrific century, and was well complemented at the other end by Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya as India chased down 198 with 8 balls remaining.

However, even when MS Dhoni didn’t come out to bat, his sheer skill as wicket-keeper on the field still left the audience and viewers alike in awe. It was the final ball of the match, where MS Dhoni, yet again, displayed his brilliant reading of the game.
The former Indian captain dropped his right glove on purpose before the delivery, so he can be ready for a run-out chance. And his pre-meditated move reaped the perfect reward for the team, as Dhoni’s pulled out a brilliant direct hit with his bullet arm to prevent England a run on the last ball.

MS Dhoni’s mind-games on the pitch aren’t uncommon, and it was almost an exhibition of his great understanding of such moments on the field.
With the T20I series wrapped up, India will now play a three-match ODI series against England. The series is scheduled to start from June 12.
Dhoni will leave the team after the ODI series, as the team would then prepare for the five-match test series against England, which would begin on August 1.
