Requiring 26 runs in the last over, Chennai clearly didn’t stand a chance despite captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni batting in the middle. Having said that, the 37-year old cricketer nearly proved one and all wrong after he hit as many as 24 runs off Umesh Yadav in the last over.

With the fine leg and deep square leg inside the circle, Dhoni hit the first ball on the leg-side for a boundary. Needing 22 runs off five balls, Dhoni smashed the following Yadav delivery over the roof and out of the stadium. In what seemed like a gigantic hit, replays confirmed that it traveled a 111m distance.
