NBA fans react to the Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers winning Game 3 to get the series to 1-2; say 0-2 Clips are the greatest team.
The Los Angeles Clippers seem to have found a pattern in their series victories in these 2021 Playoffs as they’ve reached the Western Conference Finals off the heel of two incredible comebacks. In their first round series against the Dallas Mavericks, the Clippers went down 0-2 to eventually come back and win the series in 7 games.

Their 2nd round series against the Utah Jazz was an even greater display of how well Paul George and company play in the face of adversity. After going down 0-2 again, they won 4 straight games to send the Jazz home. This series loss will surely cast a lot of doubt on the Jazz front office in terms of what they can do going forward to have deeper postseason runs.
In their current 7-game bout against the Phoenix Suns, the Clippers went down 0-2 once again. However, in classic 2021 postseason Clips fashion, a comeback seems to be on the horizon as they won Game 3 in dominant fashion.
NBA fans react to the 0-2 Clippers being the greatest team of all time.
Despite Chris Paul being back from his stint in isolation due to health and safety protocols, both CP3 and Devin Booker combined for merely 30 points together while shooting an abysmal 10-40 from the field. Though Paul George didn’t have a great game, efficiency-wise, he still dropped 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists.
NBA fans seem to have caught onto the Clippers’ pattern of constantly coming back from down 0-2 and have taken to social media to hilariously claim that when the Clips are down 0-2, they’re the greatest team of all time.

Trends like this happen in the Playoffs quite often however. In 2020, the Denver Nuggets came back from down 3-1 in their first 2 series before losing in 5 to the Lakers. So, with the Clips going down 0-2 doesn’t necessarily mean we’re in for a long series. With the Suns making the right adjustments with CP3 on the floor for Game 4, the Suns could very well wrap this up in 5.
