11 Years Into Their Marriage, $10 Million Worth Ayesha Curry Revealed Her Nightly Ritual With Husband Stephen Curry

Being in the NBA is tough for any player. Being the guy the team depends on night in and night out? That’s just hectic. Ask Warriors’ superstar Stephen Curry. However, as much as it takes a toll on the player, the same also affects their family equally. For that, you can always ask his wife, Ayesha Curry.

Stephen Curry met Ayesha for the first time when they were just teenagers in North Carolina. They both were in the same Church and became good friends. They met once again when Steph was in LA for the ESPYs in 2008. The two have been together since.

Steph and Ayesha tied the knot in 2011 and have three beautiful children together. While Steph is busy with the Warriors, Ayesha takes care of the children, all the while working on her own ventures as well.

Ayesha Curry reveals a nightly ritual she shares with Stephen Curry

With their busy schedules, it’s a miracle how Stephen Curry and Ayesha find the time for each other. Along with their hectic schedules, the two have also been together for over fourteen years, and people often wonder how they keep the spark alive.

Well, the secret is in the little things. In a recent interview with The Cut, Ayesha Curry was asked if she has a really special nightly schedule. She replied and said,

“I have a gratitude journal, and I try my best to reflect every night before I go to bed. I try to learn one new thing, like a new mantra or one new prayer, for my life every night. Something that I can close my eyes and reflect on in my sleep. Or at least that’s the intention — that I’m going to create these sweet dreams for myself by thinking of something positive before I go to bed. That’s become a ritual for me.”

She then continued and shared how she has been trying to implement a new schedule with her husband, Stephen Curry as well.

“I was just telling my husband the other day that I think we should take 30 minutes every night for us to separately do something to better ourselves after we put the kids to bed. Whether it’s reading, taking a bath, or a mini-facial. Then at the end of the day, we have something new to bring to the table for each other, and we feel refreshed and revived. It’s made a huge difference already.”

Steph once shared what his first relation with Ayesha was

While promoting their HBO Max game show, About Last Night, the couple made their way on to Jimmy Fallon. It was there when Jimmy asked the couple what their first impression of each other was. Ayesha went first and said she thought he was cute. Steph, on the other hand, had a different view altogether.

“I mean, I knew she was beautiful. We were both shy, so we didn’t really know how to, talk to or approach each other. I also knew she was from Canada and my dad played for the Raptors for a little bit, and I lived up there for a little bit. I love Canadian candy, so she was the candy plug for a long time, before we even started.”
