Is Devin Booker Playing Tonight vs Nuggets? Suns Star's Injury Report Puts Fear in Fans

The Phoenix Suns are struggling just a little bit right now. Sure, they just beat the Golden State Warriors, despite Stephen Curry playing. However, even despite that game, the team has won just 2 of their last 10 games. And worse yet, despite playing to win now, they sit just 7th in the West.

Sure, some overall poor play by the franchise is most definitely at fault. However, more than anything else, it is the continued absence of Devin Booker that has hurt the franchise. In fact, the man’s last game was against Denver on Christmas Day, where he played just 4 mins.

His last full game in the NBA, came on the 17th of December when he played 42 minutes against the Pelicans. Simply put, it has been a while since he was last in playing shape.

But has it been long enough for the man to be healthy now? Or will fans have to continue their wait to see this man play again?

Injury report on Devin Booker isn’t too promising at all?

Devin Booker has been struggling with a groin injury, something that has been a bit of a problem before this season as well. However, it was never quite this serious.

As per ESPN, as of the 29th of December, Devin Booker was ruled to be out for at least 4 weeks. And in the time since, the report has had no update made to it.

So, in other words, Devin Booker will not feature during the big game against the Nuggets.

And given that Denver has gone from strength to strength this season, Phoenix will really be up against it on this one.

What were Devin Booker’s averages for the season?

Devin Booker is currently averaging 27.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 0.9 assists per game. The man is also shooting 47.7% from the field, 37% from deep, and 85% from the free throw line.
