Amidst Bronny James and Bryce Maximus’s Arrival, LeBron James Revealed To Want To Play In The NBA Close to 2030

If anything, LeBron James is a freak of nature. Compared to players at age 37 in the NBA, James has exceeded any bar that was ever set. In Year 20 of his career in the league, LeBron has been averaging 26.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists a night for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Of course, with the way modern medicine has taken several leaps, it’s easier for athletes to recover and preserve their bodies. James in particular spends millions of dollars a year on his body alone. This includes everything from a dietician to a personal chef along with a variety of advanced recovery methods.

What makes James’s longevity even more incredible is not just the preparation but also the meticulous attention to detail every time he’s out on the floor. He’s never suffered extensive knee, ankle, or back injuries (3 biggest culprits in athletes having shorter careers) and that’s because of how carefully he plays the game.

Dennis Schroder Reveals LeBron James wants to play until he’s 45

At this point, it isn’t even surprising to hear that LeBron James wants to play well into his 40s. Dennis Schroder, James’s teammate on the Lakers, recently said in an interview that ‘The Chosen One’ isn’t planning on retiring anytime soon.

In fact, LeBron wants to play for at least another half decade. ‘5-7 years’ was the time frame Dennis gave, which would mean he would play until he was between 43 and 45 years of age.

With the way he’s been showing out at age 37 and soon to be 38, it’s no telling how much he’ll truly regress even in his early to mid 40s. Fans and media alike have given up on figuring out when James will face a steep decline in production but at this rate, it’s nowhere close to happening in the next few years.

LeBron James wants to play with both Bronny James and Bryce Maximus

LeBron James has made it clear that he not only wants Bronny James to play in the NBA, but he wants to play alongside Bronny when he makes it to the league. With him being eligible for the 2024 Draft, it’s safe to say that LeBron will most certainly not retire before then.

Drafting Bronny actually brings in ‘The King’ himself as he’s ready to take a one year deal anywhere so that he can play with his eldest son. He’s also taken it a step further and heavily hinted towards wanting to play with Bryce Maximus as well, his second son who is eligible for the 2026 draft.
