The Atlanta Hawks new jerseys have been released for the home, alternate and away games. The new uniforms bring back the team’s classic colors.

The jerseys for the upcoming season was revealed recently. When the design was leaked a few days ago, everyone seemed to like the new jerseys.

The Hawks finish the season on the 14th position in the Eastern conference. As the Hawks try to usher in a new era, their jerseys might act as a symbol of change.

Hawks are desperately in need of an upsurge and would be hoping that a new uniform can bring about some good fortune to the celebrated franchise.

Having finished 14th in the Eastern Conference, the Hawks do have a good chance of landing a good draft pick in the NBA Lottery this season. With Trae Young in their setup and the chance to get a good rookie, Hawks could be a force to reckon with next season.

The team’s return to classic colors will sit down well with most fans. Franchise star Trae Young was one of the players to unveil their new jerseys.

The Hawks confirmed that the jersey is an attempt to get back to the franchise’s roots. They have tried to blend colours from the past into one brilliant looking uniform.

The Hawks expressed that the franchise is returning to its roots with this redesign. They left the following statement during the jersey unveil:

“As we enter the next era of Hawks basketball, we are returning to our roots. We are paying respect to our treasured past, with our sights focused on a bright future ahead. We are freshening our look while paying homage to the colors most synonymous with the Hawks organization.”

“Taking the most beloved details of our past uniforms to create a look that blends past, present and future. Our new style is timeless and classic, reintroducing elements true Hawks fans have come to know and love as we enter a new golden era in pursuit of a championship.”

The Hawks won’t be travelling to the bubble as they were not in contention to enter the playoffs this season. The Hawks need to add some quality players to their ranks next year. The Trae Young led side will look to bounce back next year with a better and improved squad.
