Michael Jordan and Barack Obama each fired some humorous shots at each other with regards to their golfing skills in 2014.

Obama and MJ share a great relationship with each other. The 44th President of the United States of America was a community organizer in Chicago when Jordan debuted. Through Obama’s years in Harvard Law, Jordan was setting the GOAT standards of the game. Naturally, he was loved and idolized by everyone in his time.
During a 2014 interview with Ahmad Rashad, Michael Jordan was asked about his Mount Rushmore of golfing partners. He first named Arnold Palmer as his preferred choice. Jordan then considered Barack Obama, before rejecting him as a terrible player.
Michael Jordan: “I never played with Obama, but I would. But naw, that’s okay, I take him out, he’s a hack. It’d be all day playing with him.”
Ahmad Rashad: “Do you really want to say that? That the President of the United States is a hack?”
Michael Jordan: “Don’t worry about it. I never said he wasn’t a great politician, I just said he was a [expletive] golfer.”
Barack Obama got back at Michael Jordan for golfing diss
President Obama got a dig back at his favorite athlete and the GOAT when the correct opportunity came, a few days later. Obama called Jordan ‘not very well informed’, and added:
“But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”

You have to admit that the President made a pretty good caricature of Jordan. As it turns out, Obama was a pretty avid golfer in comparison to the average weekend warrior. At the time of the interview, Barack had played over 200 rounds of golf while in office – that’s 2 rounds every 3 weeks.
This is obviously not up to the scratch for MJ, who’s known for his immense love of the sport.
