“Bigger Isn’t Always Better”: Dwyane Wade Mocks 7ft Shaquille O’Neal While Sharing Promo For TBS Show ‘Cube’
Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal started as teammates in the NBA and have become great friends since retiring from the game. They have shared multiple platforms in the media together, notably as NBA analysts on ‘NBA on TNT’.
The duo became teammates after Shaq was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Miami Heat in 2004. In the four seasons they played together, they won the NBA championship in 2006 after beating the Dallas Mavericks in the finals.
Their cordial relationship got them a gig together as analysts on the Thursday show of TNT. Known for his well-articulated manner of speaking, Wade went on to host a game show on TBS called ‘The Cube’. The show premiered in 2021 and is set for its second season on May 14.

The second season of the game show ‘The Cube’ is set to premiere on TBS this summer, and fans have gotten excited already. Sharing a clip of the show on his Instagram, Dwyane Wade showed his friend and teammate Shaquille O’Neal struggling to complete a task. Watch the clip here:

The show is also expected to see many more celebrities in the upcoming episodes, including Wade’s wife and American actress – Gabrielle Union. With the success of the show in its first season, it would be exciting to see what it has in store for us this time.
How does the game show that Dwyane Wade is hosting work?
The second season of ‘The Cube’ was initially supposed to air on the 8th of January, 2023 but was delayed for unknown reasons. It is, however, now confirmed to release this May. With less than a month to go, here is a brief about what the show offers.
In the show, contestants are put in a cube in pairs and are asked to perform physically and mentally challenging tasks. Seven games need to be completed by the contestants who get nine lives. The prize money increases as contestants cross each level and reach a jackpot of $250,000.
