Many of us have already heard about LeBron James‘ elder son, Bronny James. However, it’s possible that Bryce James turns out even better.

Being the son of any illustrious personality is always a daunting task. For better or worse, the child is always compared to their parent if (s)he happens to choose the same line.
This is quite true in the case of Bronny James, who’s been in the news since before his junior year. All eyes fell on the 18-year-old when LeBron accompanied him to an AAU tournament and entertained viewers with some awesome pre-game dunks in 2018.
Now that Bronny has finished his high school career and is expected to start as a freshman at a premier D1 university, the focus of high school hoops recruitment will shift towards his younger brother Bryce.
Bronny James talks up Bryce James on his Instagram stories
Bryce James recently played in an AAU tournament for the first time in his fledgling basketball career. His team, Strive For Greatness, beat their opponents Dream Vision in overtime, 57-54.
Bryce gave a good account of himself, although his very first shot attempt got blocked. He had at least 3 awesome dunks, along with a nice late dime and a block.

Bronny shared footage of this game on his Instagram stories, as did LeBron James and Bryce’s teammate Jermaine O’Neal Jr (the son of the 6-time NBA All-Star).

How good a prospect is Bryce James?
At a height of 6’6″, Bryce is already 3 inches taller than his elder brother Bronny James. Now due to play in his junior year of high school hoops, Bryce still has some room to grow even taller.
Although his musculature is nothing like his father’s at 15, Bryce still projects as an elite prospect. He was recently ranked no. 73 on On3 basketball’s high school rankings for the class of 2025.
Bryce has often been called the ‘best shooter in the James family’ by both Bronny as well as LeBron. If he improves his handles further and his current skill progression stays on track, Bryce could become the 3rd NBA player in his family.
