LeBron James came into the league with two of the greatest scoring wings of his draft class: Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade. While Melo and Wade made their way from successful collegiate campaigns, James declared for the ’03 NBA Draft straight from SVSM as the number one overall consensus pick.

Chris Paul on the other hand, was drafted 4th overall two seasons later by the New Orleans Hornets. The bond between James, Melo, and Wade was understandable given that they came into the league together. However, as time went on, they enveloped CP3 into their fold as well as a younger brother of sorts.
Their bond would be in full effect during Team USA meets and any games that they played against one another. This friendship of theirs transcended NBA hardwood of course as they would hang out with one another off the court on countless occasions.
Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul all have a group chat
It should be common knowledge by now that these 4 superstars who constantly hang out with one another and have formed a brotherhood do share a group chat. Why wouldn’t they? Though, while many people may think they only talk about NBA games, that couldn’t be further away from the truth.
Dwyane Wade revealed once that their entire group chat flamed Chris Paul while the was out with a thumb injury for wearing a suit that was ‘diarrhea brown’. Both LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony hilariously got into it with CP3 for his poor fashion sense at the time.

In all fairness, every single NBA player has had quite a lot of regrettable fashion ‘statement’s while on the sidelines or walking through the tunnel. LeBron, D-Wade, and Melo certainly have had them and best believe they each got roasted on the GC for it as well.
LeBron James has played with each of the ‘Banana Boat’ members except Chris Paul
LeBron James teamed up with Dwyane Wade most famously in the summer of 2010 when he decided to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat. The 2 would win two consecutive championships in 2012 and 2013. They would team up once again in the beginning of the 2017-18 season on the Cavs before Wade was traded.
Carmelo Anthony played with James as well but on the Los Angeles Lakers last season. Melo is currently without a team but is vying for a comeback. Rumors of Chris Paul being traded to the Lakers arose this season but never really gained much steam.
CP3 is still very much a Phoenix Sun but with James wanting to play in the league for another 5-7 years at the minimum, according to Dennis Schroder, it’s safe to say that he could eventually have Paul on any roster he finds himself on.
