"Dennis Rodman crashed a Pearl Jam concert and sang on stage for 45 minutes": When the Bulls legend had Eddie Vedder cursing him out

Dennis Rodman has many crazy tales to tell, and crashing the concert of a world-famous rock band like Pearl Jam is one of them.

If you’ve ever followed anything from Dennis Rodman’s career, you’d know how much of a maverick the guy was. Even after retirement, Rodman remains one of the most boisterous sportspersons out there.

Never afraid to try something new, Rodman was often viewed as a loose cannon. This is despite him winning Defensive Player of the Year honors, along with 8 straight rebounding titles.

The Last Dance provided us an account of how Rodman once took off for a midseason break of his own accord. Michael Jordan had to pry him from hotel room with Carmen Electra still in his bed.

This particular story is pretty much in the same vein as the rest of those.

Dennis Rodman gatecrashed a Pearl Jam concert and took the stage

An MTV News report from the year of 1998 says the following about the incident in question:

“The tattooed walking time bomb was shirtless, shoeless, and swigging a bottle of wine when he jumped up on stage with the band. According to a critic from the ‘Dallas Morning News,’ Rodman held forth for some 45 minutes.”

“The band eventually tired of his antics, which included chanting “Are you having a good time?” during the song “Corduroy.” Rodman also chimed in on “Alive,” but his mic was finally cut off during his contribution to “Spin The Black Circle.”

“An exasperated Stone Gossard suggested that Rodman, ‘Get the f— off the stage,’ and Eddie Vedder told the player, ‘I’m guessing you’ve been drinking for three days straight.”

Eddie Vedder still remains a friend of the greatest rebounder of all time. The band even brought Rodman on board for a 2018 concert. Rodman, in turn, reciprocates all this love by acknowledging Eddie Vedder’s role in helping him pacify Kim Jong-Un.
