Bronny James has a lot of pressure placed on his shoulders. Aside from the fact that his father, LeBron James, has said on national television repeatedly that he wants him to make it to the NBA and play with him on an NBA team; the world’s attention following his freshman year at college will be on him and if he’ll actually make it.

Unlike a lot of NBA stars’ children who usually stray away from trying to carry on their father’s legacy on the hardwood, Bronny dove head first into it. And in all fairness to him, he seems to be doing quite a good job at it.
He played every single game of his freshman season but would miss a majority of his sophomore year due to the pandemic and also a meniscus tear. He would have a lackluster junior year due to other top 100 recruits on the team with him but this senior year of his has shown just how good he can be.

Bronny James gets an NBA comp that seems to be fairly accurate
LeBron James is anywhere between 6’8 and 6’9 but despite this, Bronny James stands at 6’2. With him being taught almost everything he knows about basketball from his father, it would be safe to assume that his NBA comp would be him.
However, it makes more sense in the video linked below to compare him to someone else. That ‘someone else’ would be Donovan Mitchell.
Two slightly undersized guards with an inordinate amount of explosion to them couple with a pure shooting stroke and the ability to survey the floor. This is what Bronny and Spida are. Of course, the former is extremely raw in comparison to the man who dropped 71 in an NBA regulation game but the potential is certainly visible.
Has Bronny James decided on his program of choice?
It’s more likely that Bronny James makes his collegiate basketball decision during the Spring time and focuses on his life at Sierra Canyon for now. Though, he’s already received a bevy of offers from some of the best programs in the country.
Duke, Kentucky, and Oregon are just a few of the schools who have expressed a deep level of interest in him. He’s even made a campus visit to Ohio State and hinted towards potentially becoming a Buckeye in the future.
