Despite Prior Warnings, Shaquille O'Neal is Forced to Burst Out at Charles Barkley Again: "You Big Dummy"

Shaquille O’Neal is a savant in the game of basketball. So, if the man gets a job as a basketball analyst and wishes to speak, you let the big man speak. But apparently, Charles Barkley can never quite get that point, instead almost intentionally interrupting him mid-speech every time. And much like on one occasion a few years ago, the subsequent outburst by O’Neal had at his fellow analyst could hardly be funnier.

During Game 1 between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat, Shaquille O’Neal had some thoughts on how both teams were playing. So, he started to do his thing, analyzing every little thing he had thoughts on. Charles Barkley on the other hand was ready to do something else entirely, deciding to invest his time into some playful tomfoolery. And by the end of his schemes, it would be fair to say that Shaq stood beyond defeated, much to the hilarity of the whole ordeal.

Shaquille O’Neal has a soft spot for the Miami Heat in that big heart of his. After all, not only did he play for the franchise back in the day, but even won a championship with them.

So of course, as he saw this franchise winning, he decided to do nothing more than pick at the Boston Celtics just a little, criticizing the way they were playing, and the immaturity of their defense during key stretches.

However, during his all-important analysis of this match, Charles Barkley decided to bring up a little incident from their past. And in response, Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t help but let his anger get the better of him just a tad bit. Take a look at the tweet by Inside the NBA below.

“I’m trying to explain something, you big Dummy!”

Shaquille O’Neal is clearly a bit incensed by the whole thing, but trying to keep things on the lighter side. As for Charles Barkley, the man is clearly alluding to an earlier time, when Shaq burst out at him with a little rant that had everyone on the panel in tears from laughter.

As we said before, the entire panel broke out into fits of laughter. Ernie Johnson in particular seemed to be having a jolly old time with Shaq’s statement. And admittedly, we can’t help but relate to him.
