‘Drake and Rick Ross just don’t miss’: LeBron James compares the rap duo to Warriors superstars Steph Curry and Kevin Durant
Kyle Kuzma and LeBron James debated over which basketball duo would be the best analogy for Rick Ross and Drake together.
Basketball has a big impact on the music industry. One can often hear the names of top NBA players being mentioned in rap songs. Many a time, top rappers and pop stars are spotted on front row seats at NBA games.
One of the rappers in particular, who has been associated with the league and its players for a long time is Drake. Being from Canada, he has established his love for the Toronto Raptors and was visible at the NBA Finals Games back in 2019. Recently, the 34-year-old icon dropped his extended playlist ‘Scary Hours 2’. One of the tracks included in the EP was ‘Lemon Pepper Freestyle’.
Initially, Kyle Kuzma compared the duo to the likes of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. LeBron James didn’t agree with the comparison and gave his take. King James probably had one of the most accurate comparisons for the rapping duo. The Lakers megastar compared Drake and Rick Ross to Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. LeBron tweeted replying to Kuzma:
“Nah bro they more like Steph and KD!! They don’t miss! EVER!!!”

James was enjoying the new song a while after making selections for his All-Star team. Being the captain for the fourth straight year, LeBron managed to display his awesome GM skills by drafting Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard all on his team.
