“Kevin Durant, it’s over”: Giannis Antetokounmpo disses the Nets superstar’s All-Star team after learning Team LeBron’s starting five
Giannis Antetokounmpo sent warning shots to Kevin Durant after taking a look at Team LeBron and his roster for the All-Star Game.
The All-Star Game is one of the most fun events in the league. Seeing the league’s current best players playing together and going at it against each other is a highly talented game.
Like all the previous years, this year’s All-Star draft managed to entertain us. The two captains – LeBron James and Kevin Durant, assembled their respective teams selecting stars from the player pool.
GM LeBron James managed to draft back-to-back MVPs, Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo. He was also able to draft other megastars like Damian Lillard, Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic.
When Greek Freak learned that he would be playing on Team LeBron along with his talented starting five, he exclaimed that the competition was over even before it started. Giannis optimistically said:
“It’s over, guys. Me, LeBron, Luka, Jokic and Steph. Man, that’s a good starting five.”

‘LeBron’s never lost an All-Star Game since selecting being the captain of an All-Star team’
Ever since the concept of Eastern All-Stars competing Western All-Stars changed into captains selecting their teams, LeBron James has been named team captain all four years.
Historically, King James does have an advantage over Kevin Durant in the All-Star Game. All the three previous editions of the All-Star Game, with LeBron as the captain, he hasn’t lost a single event. There is absolutely no denying his basketball skills. But the fact that LeBron has been assembling game-winning teams for the past three editions of the event, makes us laud his General Manager skills.

Taking no credit from team Durant, they have some big megastars who can help them win games. Nevertheless, like always, the All-Star Game hopes to be a highly entertaining and competitive matchup amongst the league’s current best players.
