“Draymond Green Punched You!”: Nets Fans Direct Nasty Heckles Towards Jordan Poole During Humiliating Loss

It’s been almost 3 months since Draymond Green sucker punched Jordan Poole in one of the Golden State Warriors off-season practices.

For those who have forgotten or don’t know what is been mentioning about – on October 5th, after several “pushing” and “shoving”, Dray “forcefully struck” the 4th-year guard right on his face.

Here, have a look at the shocking clip.

While both the professionals have mutually decided to put the matter behind them, it has become an interesting topic for opposing teams’ fanbases to attack the defining champs with.

And that is exactly what a few Brooklyn Nets fans did during the Warriors’ latest clash.

NBA Twitter reacts to fans directing “Draymond punched you” chants toward Jordan Poole

A few days back, during the Nets-Warriors battle at the Barclays Center, Poole was subjected to some mean heckles.

During 1 out of his 2 trips to the charity stripe, a few Brooklyn supporters chanted “Draymond punched you” as the combi guard prepared to shoot his free throws.

The action received numerous reactions on Twitter. Of course, Dub Nation didn’t appreciate the same. Whereas, fans of other teams found the clip extremely hilarious.

Are Draymond Green and JP over the fiasco?

Of course, the situation was a pretty complex one for the GSW organization to handle. On top of it, the video footage going viral made the situation only worse for them.

However, the franchise did a good job of managing the duo’s relationship.

Only a few weeks after the incident, both the champions decided to keep the matter to rest.

“He apologized, and we plan on handling ourselves that way, we’re going to play basketball,” Poole said.

Hopefully, the duo manages to help the Warriors stay afloat in Stephen Curry’s absence.
