Shaquille O’Neal seems to always catch whatever slight innuendo Charles Barkley spews out on ‘Inside the NBA’. What makes it even funnier is the fact that Chuck doesn’t even realize most of the time that what he said on national television is something that could be taken out of context very easily.

There have been several instances on TNT where Barkley has said something incredibly ‘suspect’ and O’Neal was the only one to catch what he was saying. Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith and Ernie Johnson are usually don’t react to Chuck’s strange sayings until after he’s done talking and they fully realize what he just said.
One that was quite funny was Barkley saying, “Them young boys are coming” in reference to a young team going after a win. Shaq, as expected, took this out of context and looked around the production team to see if anybody else got what he just said.
Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t believe what Charles Barkley said to Ernie Johnson
Charles Barkley wants to make a prediction for Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings. Not only does he believe the Kings are going to win against the defending champions, but he believes they’ll beat the Los Angeles Lakers as well in the semis and make it to the Conference Finals.
To make this prediction, he asked Ernie Johnson to take out his piece of paper to write it down. Unfortunately, he didn’t choose his words properly as he told Ernie to ‘take your little thing out,’ leading to Shaquille O’Neal looking around to see if anybody else had caught that.
The production team behind the cameras could be heard laughing because at this point, it feels as though they’re well prepared for Barkley’s unintentional double entendres and are on the lookout for them as well.
Shaquille O’Neal laughed at Charles Barkley’s lack of 30-point Playoff games
Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have a brother-like relationship with one another and so them poking fun at each other is something that is very common. In this particular instance, Shaq wouldn’t let the fact that Chuck isn’t in the top 10 for most 30-point Playoff games go.
Shaq has 55 such games, which is an incredible mark. Barkley is 24th on this list as he has ‘merely’ 28 games where he has hit the 30+ point mark in the Playoffs.
