"Giannis and Khris Middleton have all of Milwaukee Bucks' 1st quarter points": Coach Budenholzer's players struggle around their stars in Game 3 vs Nets

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton step up big time, as the Bucks pummel the Nets in the first quarter.

Well, it seems Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have finally taken their humiliation personal. And boy, what a difference it has made.

The franchise went on a 7-0 run to start the game and kept that momentum going for quite a while. In fact, their opposition in the Nets looked shell-shocked for the entire first quarter of the game.

Before this game, analysts and fans alike were ripping into the Bucks’ stars for not stepping up, and justifiably so. And well, this incredible stat from the game shows that all the criticism may finally have added some fuel to their fire.

Let’s get into it.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton scored all of the Bucks’ points in the first quarter of game-3

As we previously mentioned, the first quarter could hardly have gone better for the Bucks. Not only did they jump out to an early lead, but by the end of the period, the score stood at 30-11 in their favor.

With the team doing that well, you’d expect offense coming from most of the five players on the floor right? Well, you’d be dead wrong.

Yep, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton scored all of the franchise’s points in the first quarter, with each player scoring 15 points.

The two stars getting hot early in the game is a very good sign for the team. However, both players need to keep up the aggression in their time on the floor. They take their foot off the gas for even a second, and frankly, the Nets could eat them up just as quickly as they gained a lead.

At the moment, the Bucks still hold a 2 point lead in the second quarter.
