LeBron James takes to Twitter to congratulate Tom Brady on his 7th Super Bowl victory and says that Brady is the NFL’s ‘GOAT’.
The much anticipated Super Bowl took place last night with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs. In what was expected to be a ‘passing of the torch’ moment between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, turned into Brady’s continued reign over the NFL by claiming his 7th championship ring.
Tom Brady was crowned with the illustrious title of ‘GOAT’ a while back when he had snagged his 6th ring with the Patriots. However, there were still many doubters who claimed that he was a product of Bill Belichick’s offense.
Now, winning in Tampa Bay without his Hall of Fame coach further solidifies that he is in fact the greatest to ever step foot on the field.
LeBron James believes Tom Brady is the ‘GOAT’
LeBron James has been on his own personal mission to ‘catch the ghost from Chicago’ ever since he’s stepped foot on the NBA’s hardwood. Following his 4th championship victory, many have been in a constant state of flux when trying to decide of LeBron James has overthrown Jordan as the NBA’s ‘GOAT’.
LeBron James clearly believes he’s one of the greatest if not the greatest as he congratulated Tom Brady on his 7th Super Bowl championship by tweeting out, “GOAT TALK”. Both legends have been to 10 championship games in their respective sports but Brady boasts a much better, 7-3 record, as opposed to James’s 4-6.

The difference between Tom Brady and the ‘King’ is that Brady is the undisputed greatest NFL star of all time. Bron on the other hand still has a plethora of doubters. In terms of individual accolades, LeBron James has accomplished more than 99.99% of players who ever stepped foot on the court.
Many believe for James to be proclaimed as the ‘GOAT’, he needs to match Michael Jordan’s 6 rings before he retires.
