Kobe’s late daughter Gianna Bryant would’ve ben 15 today. NBA stars from over the League honored her by wearing the “Mambacita” clothing line.
There was no player who was more dedicated or driven than Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. For two decades, Bryant instilled the “Mamba Mentality” in all of his fans while preaching it himself. Having one of the biggest impacts today, and seeing his successful career, it is obvious why the Black Mamba was compared to Michael Jordan for the GOAT debate.
Kobe Bryant loved playing the sport. It was his competitive spirit that kept him engaged in the game for 20 years as a player. But, we all know, the Mamba was having a pretty successful retirement too. He won an Oscar for his short animated film and even was a celebrated businessman.
If there was one thing which the Hall-Of-Famer loved more than the sport, was his family. Post his retirement, it was evident that Bryant was spending and enjoying the time he had with his wife and daughters. However, back on 27th January 2020, Kobe and his second-oldest daughter, Gianna Bryant meet with a tragic helicopter crash killing them and seven others.
NBA stars honour Gianna Bryant by wearing the “Mambacita” clothing line on her 15th birthday
Gianna, who herself wanted to fill in for her father’s shoes, was very intrigued by the game. Kobe and Gigi were often spotted at various basketball matches – NBA or WNBA or even college basketball, grasping as much knowledge as they could.
