Having Planned 2nd ‘Family Outlet,’ Giannis Antetokounmpo Takes Inspiration From Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘Cartoon’ For a Potential Venture
It will be fair to say that the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo is having an eventful off-season. After getting knee surgery and spending time in China on a promotional tour, Giannis posted details about a potential new business alongside his brothers that may be influenced by Shaq’s Cartoon series. Kostas, Thanasis, Francis, Alex, and Giannis are already opening a 2nd “Antetokounbros,” after opening the first outlet back home in Athen, Greece. The 2nd shop will function on the first floor of the newly opened Trade Hotel, which is just across the street from the Bucks’ arena, the Fiserv Forum, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. It’s interesting to see how Giannis is seeking inspiration from other NBA legends to launch new ventures.
Giannis has not only helped the Bucks land their first NBA title since 1971 but he is also focused on building a business legacy. Much like the former LA Lakers superstar, Giannis is also showing the right business acumen and appears intent to build his own empire as well.
Giannis Antetokounmpo unveils plans to open a store near Fiserv Forum
Milwaukee Bucks fans will be delighted with the latest initiative by the 28-year-old. The store’s address has been listed as “423 W. Juneau Ave,” and the tagline is “We are all Bros.”
The tagline in itself is in line with the initiative that is being undertaken jointly by the four brothers. The store will most notably feature souvenir items such as t-shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, hats, and sweatshirts.
However, this is not the only venture that Giannis has recently talked about. Following the footsteps of Shaq, Giannis was also seen considering the possibility of an animated series featuring himself along with his brothers.

Shaq has had a longstanding relationship with Hollywood and has supported the creation of multiple animated characters. This includes the series “Shaq’s Garage,” as well as a DC Comics character that was based on his real-life persona, according to DCAU Fandom.
Shaquille O’Neal considers Giannis Antetokounmpo the Superman of this generation
Needless to say, the dominant career that Shaq had, he has always been reluctant to consider modern players at his level. O’Neal has often talked about the softness of the modern era and regularly criticizes players for not trying hard enough.

That is not the case with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who Shaq believes is like him, the “Superman” of this era. Speaking on The Big Podcast, Shaq had said that Giannis was an old-school player, who like him, wants to do things “the hard way.”

Considering the kind of criticism he generally reserves for current stars, O’Neal gave a glowing review of the Greek Freak. It will be fair to say that the respect is mutual, with Giannis appearing to take multiple leaves out of Shaq’s book.
