Kyle Kuzma snaps at Stephen A Smith

Lakers’ forward Kyle Kuzma had some words for Stephen A. Smith after he made Dwight Howard – Paul George comparison

The Lakers have had some time to rest, relax, and catch-up with what all has been happening outside the bubble. They finished their Rockets series early and were waiting for the Clippers-Nuggets series to decide their next matchup.

With the Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead and losing to the young Nuggets team, they were sure to be lashed, and surely there have been a lot. One such was made by Stephen A. Smith in his show ‘First Take’

Kyle Kuzma responds to Stephen A Smith

Kyle Kuzma, who’s in his 3rd season in the league, did not like the comparison Stephen A Smith made. Dwight Howard, an 8-time NBA All-Star was being compared to Paul George and Smith said that PG was on his way to becoming Dwight Howard. This did not sit well with the Lakers’ forward.

Kuzma pointed that unlike PG-13, Howard led the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals in 2009. He has also won Defensive Player of the Year three straight times, the only player in league history to do so.

‘Dwight Howard is unselfish’- Kyle Kuzma

Even before the start of the Bubble, Kyle Kuzma has been appreciative of Dwight Howard. He has been all praise of the fact that Howard is ready to come off the bench for the Lakers squad, even after leading a very decorated career.

The defensive intelligence of Dwight Howard would come very handy in the upcoming series against the Nuggets. The Nuggets have two very high IQ centers in Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee. The Lakers vs Nuggets match-up kicks off at 9 PM ET tonight.
