Nikola Jokic

Nikola Jokic is having fun in his own way as he is vacationing in Serbia at the moment. A video of the Nuggets star being drunk on the streets has gone viral.

Denver has become a perenial title contender under Jokic and his ascent to the top of the league. He won the NBA MVP award last year after posting averages of 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game all while leading Denver to the third seed in the Western Conference.

The MVP had to go it alone in the playoffs as his co-star Jamal Murray was out with an injury, but he’s sure to be back next season, leading Denver to another playoff berth.

Enjoying his offtime, Jokic was venturing around in Serbia, his home country, celebrating in his own way, which may have included some alcohol.

Nikola Jokic Was Spotted Drunk In Serbia As NBA Fans React

Naturally, whenever any star athlete seems to have any alcohol in their system, it gets the attention of everyone in the sporting world.

Jokic was no different, as people filmed him walked a little tipsy through the streets of Serbia:

The video prompted NBA fans to ask “How much liquor does it take to get Nikola Jokic drunk?” Of course, nobody should be making fun of Jokic or shaming him for wanting to let loose a little. After all, he is human too, something fans tend to forget when talking about athletes.

Jokic is definitely going to be laser focused when the NBA season rolls around, but for now, when he has the time, why can’t he celebrate a little bit.

The Denver Nuggets face an uphill battle to make it to the NBA Finals next year, even with Jamal Murray returning as the Western Conference is stacked with title worthy teams.

The Lakers added Westbrook, and the Clippers, Suns, and Jazz will all be running back similar squads. The pressure is on for Jokic to make a deep run in this year’s postseason.
