Newly signed Lakers center Montrezl Harrell is excited at the prospect of playing alongside LeBron James.

The NBA free agency and trade season is a time of uncertainty. There have been a lot of surprising moves over the years, and then there are some which blindside everyone.

The Los Angeles Lakers signing free-agent Montrezl Harrell was one of them. Formerly a part of the Los Angeles Clippers, Harrell decided to hop over town to the Lakers this offseason and caught everyone off-guard.

The former Clippers forward was reportedly on LeBron James’s radar for quite some time. The Clippers’ poor show in the postseason may have pushed Harrell away and made him want to leave. In his first interview as a Laker, Harrell even said that the Clippers did not want him back.

Montrezl Harrell excited ‘envisioning’ plays as a Laker

Montrezl Harrell is excited about donning the legendary Lakers jersey, who wouldn’t be? According to Sports Note, Harrell’s excitement is so high, he is already envisioning the plays he would run with his teammate LeBron James.

The Lakers talisman has emerged as one of the finest passers of the basketball and would do everything in his power to help Harrell feel at home. The assist king could very well dish out some dimes for Harrell come the opening night on December 22

It is clear Harrell is excited to play with the King. It seems like the King also has an interest in Harrell.

This offseason has been icing on the top of the cake for the Laker fans. They already won a championship this year and are considered as early favorites for the ring in the coming season as well. Not only the fans but LeBron James himself too believes the Lakers can win another championship this year.
