Newly appointed Rockets Head Coach Stephen Silas dismisses all trade rumors surrounding Daryl Morey’s Sixers and James Harden.
Daryl Morey, the former GM of the Houston Rockets, got James Harden to the franchise from OKC and gave him his own space to grow. Last year, he brought another key OKC player to Houston in form of Russell Westbrook. Now that Morey has parted ways with the Rockets and moved on to Philadelphia, there were rumors of him possibly making a move to get James Harden there too.
The Rockets’ newly appointed head coach Stephen Silas was recently on First Take. Stephen A. Smith did not shy away from asking the question each of us has had in mind.
Instead of directly asking about Harden, Smith asked whether Silas believed some players are untouchable, or whether he believes no one is untouchable in professional basketball.
“He is our guy”: Stephen Silas dismisses rumors revolving around James Harden
James Harden has been averaging over 30 ppg for 3 straight seasons. Although there have been rumors about James possibly being poached by Morey, the Houston management has always been firm about their stance. They do not want to part ways with their MVP and this statement by the HC just confirms it.

The Houston Rockets have had a lot of turnover this offseason. They got a new head coach, a new GM. The team is also expected to have a lot of new faces, with free agency just around the corner.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure and that is the Beard is not going anywhere.
