“I did not like that”: Luka Doncic reveals his true feelings toward Kristaps Porzingis and his strip club visit mid-playoffs

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was not pleased when Kristaps Porzingis violated league protocols and visited a strip club in LA

The Dallas Mavericks are in the middle of some pretty big changes. They recently parted ways with their GM Donnie Nelson and hired Nike Executive Nico Harrison as his replacement. The Mavs also parted ways with HC Rick Carlise. They are rumored to have reached a verbal agreement with Jason Kidd as the new HC for the Mavs.

While there are changes happening in the office, there are rumors that the players also may want some changes. After being knocked out of the playoffs in the first round for the second straight time, the Mavs would look for changes. Many assumed that the duo of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis would wreak havoc on the league. Luka showed up and did his part, but somewhere along the way, Porzingis got left behind.

Luka Doncic was not pleased with Kristaps Porzingis at all

During the first-round series against the Clippers, Kristaps Porzingis was fined $50k by the NBA for violation of its protocols. Apparently, Porzingis had broken protocol and visited a strip club while the series was still going on. Porzingis wasn’t issued any bans, and the matter was quickly swept under the rug. However, Luka Doncic was not pleased about all of the same.

Luka, who was sensational against the Clippers, lacked a consistent second star during the series. Porzingis was expected to show up, but he only performed on a few occasions. When asked about the whole incident, Luka did not say anything directly, but his displeasure was apparent.

Luka currently is preparing with his national squad to compete in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Once he gets done with his national duties and returns to Dallas, we shall get to know more about the Mavericks and their future.
