Shaquille O’Neal has never shied away from admitting he indulged in a slew of extramarital relationships during his marriage to Shaunie O’Neal (now Shaunie Henderson). It was what eventually led to the two divorcing one another after 5 years of marriage. Even to this day, Shaq brings up his past failures as a husband as he did so again while addressing the comments made by Eboni K. Williams on ‘The Big Podcasts with Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams.

Eboni K. Williams is a lawyer who recently made waves online for her comments regarding her choice in men. She claimed the only way she would ever date a bus driver was if he owned the bus. This statement by her stirred quote a bit of controversy regarding people’s expectations of others in a relationship from a monetary standpoint.

Shaq’s marriage to Shaunie ended because both him and the mother of 4 of his children were not being faithful to one another. He references this when talking about the recent comments made by Eboni K. Williams.

“Just because you got the status doesn’t mean you have the heart to know how to treat a woman. I know a lot of people with status, including myself. I had big status but I didn’t know how to treat a woman and that’s why I lost so many,” said Shaquille O’Neal on ‘The Big Podcast’.

The 4x NBA champion has been very vulnerable about his struggles with women over the past few years. On another podcast, he claimed that he doesn’t have a romantic partner in his life currently and that his daughters and his mother, Lucille, are the only women in his life that he’s focused on taking care of.

Given the close proximity with which Shaquille O’Neal and Nischelle Turner work with each other in, it’s safe to say that rumors of their potential ‘budding romance made sense. The height of these rumors was when the two appeared to attend last year’s Super Bowl together and even hit the red carpet with each other.

Neither of them have addressed these rumors and with Shaq confirming that he isn’t seeing anyone at the moment, it seems as though the two aren’t dating and might’ve never dated in the past either.
