Nets’ superstar Kevin Durant has a message for NBA 2K developers, explains why his 2K rating should be increased up to 99

Kevin Durant is one of the biggest names in the world of Basketball. Considered one of the greatest scorers of all time, the 6’11 forward has revolutionized the game. Durant took inspiration from Dirk Nowitzki and made it one step better. At his length and wingspan, KD can not only dominate in the paint but can also shoot from the distance with consistency. KD is not only a scoring machine, but an excellent defender, and a facilitator.
Recently, Durant had one of the best playoff performances seen in a long time. He put on a masterclass against the Milwaukee Bucks and reminded us of who he is. Unfortunately, the Nets succumbed to injuries and were eliminated by the Bucks in 7 games in the Semi-Finals. However, Durant thinks that should not affect his 2K rating.
Kevin Durant wants to be a 99 on 2K, join an elite company
Recently, the NBA 2K page shared a video of Kevin Durant, making a case for the developers to boost his rating. In the video, Durant can be heard saying,
“I think my rating should be a 99 on 2K. I work extremely hard, I hit big shots from all over the floor, I’m a solid passer — I think I’m a great passer — great rebounder, I pretty much do everything great. That’s why I should be a 99.”

Current, Kevin Durant is a 96 on 2K, with 43 badges to his name. That is the third-best rating among active players, only lagging behind LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Both of them have a rating of 97.
It is highly unlikely that 2K would increase his rating to 99, but if they do, Durant would join an elite company of active players who have had a 99 rating. Those are LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett.
