“I want to dunk on LeBron James”: Warriors’ Draymond Green shares the ambitious goal he’s set for himself for the 2021-22 season
Warriors star forward Draymond Green has set a personal goal for the upcoming season, and it involves Lakers’ superstar LeBron James
Draymond Green has been keeping real busy nowadays. Despite being knocked out for the season, Green is making his presence felt in the NBA Playoffs still. The defensive goliath has made his way back to the TV screens but in a different role. He had served as a player-analyst for Inside the NBA on TNT during the Bubble. He instantly became a fan favorite. So when the Warriors didn’t make the playoffs this season, everyone was counting the time till Draymond is back in the studios. His takes are often the ones that are on the money and are devoid of any additional bs.
Green recently hosted an Ask Me Anything(AMA) session with Bleacher Report. There he talked about his personal life, his teammates, and a lot more.
Draymond Green wants to dunk on LeBron James
Draymond Green and LeBron James share a rather complicated relationship. After going up against each other for four straight Finals, the two are very familiar with each other. The two share a healthy off-court relation and have the same agent as well.
The Warriors lost a close encounter to the Lakers in the marquee Play-in games matchup. However, something happened during the game that motivated Green to push harder for the next season. During his AMA, Green was asked what player would he want to dunk on. Green replied by saying, “LeBron. I would absolutely hang the poster in my house. I got a shot blocked by him in the play-in game and all I could think of was trying to dunk on him.”
